ESTATE PLANNING

When we think of estate planning it is often common to imagine this is an area that is confined to planning for the super wealthy.  Actually, the reality is that everybody needs to make a provision for the time that when they’re no longer on this earth.  I have seen situations where people of relatively modest means created a great deal of hassle for their families because they had not taken care of some very rudimentary estate planning tools.  This is especially a concern when you have blended families or children from a prior marriage.

Different people may have different ideas of what they want to have happened after they’re gone.  It’s important to sit down and discussed what those desires are in to make sure that your assets are titled appropriately, and that various legal documents are promptly drawn up to be sure that what you wish to happen actually does happen.
